Welcome to High Plains Gardens

High Plains GardensOur first sale of 2017 was the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum Plant Sale – April 22nd. If you have never checked this out, you are really missing a great day! Plants of all kinds are for sale at very reasonable prices and the sale helps to support the Lubbock Memorial Arboretum. Please plan to attend next year!

We will offer native plants as well as an assortment of tomatoes, peppers, herbs, cactus/succulent pots, & hanging baskets. Beginning mid-June, we can be found at the Downtown Area Farmers’ Market twice a month. As always, we are available at our greenhouse location (3211 County Road 5800), 10-6 all week – it is best to call ahead. (closed Sunday).

High Plains Gardens is proud to introduce David Hubbard, Texas Master Certified Nursery Professional. David is available to answer all your lawn and garden questions. Please use the contact form to email David with a detailed description of your issue.

High Plains Gardens has recently had the pleasure of providing some of the plants for the re-establishment of native plants in Caprock Canyons State Park. The project involved Ambassadors who have created an Instagram account for the Park, raised awareness of the Park with First Day hikes, and completed a pollinator garden for Caprock Canyons State Park. http://tpwd.texas.gov/spdest/programs/state_parks_ambassador/

We have a commitment to water conservation, recycling and reuse – brought on not only by necessity, but also by conscience. Numerous projects are in progress as we work towards being independent of the Ogallala Aquifer.

We are as much of a DIY/recycle company as possible – always use & reuse what you have before buying more of anything.

We look forward to your visit to High Plains Gardens!
